Fair terms for a fair start.

Using Property Claim Guide means you understand its educational purpose and limitations. Here's the full agreement.

Last revised May 7, 2026

01 — Educational purpose

What this platform is for.

Property Claim Guide provides general educational guidance based on information entered by the user. It does not provide insurance advice, legal advice, public adjusting services, engineering opinions, contractor estimates, or coverage determinations. All output, including Caro AI analysis, is for informational purposes only. Caro is AI software — not a licensed professional — and its analysis may contain errors or omissions. See the AI Disclosure for full details.

02 — Not an insurance company

Who we aren't.

Property Claim Guide does not sell insurance, adjust claims, negotiate claims, represent policyholders, represent insurers, or tell users what insurance will pay. Users should consult their insurer, licensed contractor, public adjuster, engineer, or attorney when appropriate.

03 — Broad cost ranges

Why our numbers aren't quotes.

Any cost range displayed by Property Claim Guide — whether rule-based or AI-generated — is a broad educational band. Final pricing depends on licensed contractor inspection, local labor costs, material availability, building codes, hidden conditions, and policy terms. Do not rely on these ranges for financial decisions without professional verification.

04 — No contractor endorsement

Matching, not vouching.

Property Claim Guide may suggest contractors based on service area and damage type matching. While we verify contractor license and insurance during onboarding, we do not guarantee contractor availability, pricing, quality of work, or suitability for your specific project. You are responsible for independently vetting any contractor before hiring.

05 — User responsibilities

What we expect from you.

You agree to provide accurate information during assessment. You acknowledge that the platform output is educational and not a substitute for professional inspection. You agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy regarding data collection and sharing. If you upload photos, you confirm they depict property damage at your property and do not contain illegal content or third-party PII without consent.

06 — Limitation of liability

How risk is allocated.

Property Claim Guide and its operators are not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from your use of this educational platform, including decisions made based on assessment output, Caro AI analysis, contractor interactions, or reliance on broad cost ranges.

07 — Contractor agreement

Additional terms for pros.

Contractors who register on Property Claim Guide agree to the following additional terms:

  1. You represent that your business is properly licensed, insured, and bonded as required by your jurisdiction.
  2. You agree not to misuse lead data, including reselling leads, using leads for purposes other than providing legitimate repair or mitigation services, or contacting homeowners outside the scope of their assessment.
  3. Property Claim Guide does not guarantee lead volume, quality, exclusivity, or conversion rates. Leads are informational matches based on trade and service area only.
  4. Contractors may not impersonate other businesses, submit false credentials, or manipulate the platform to gain unfair visibility.
  5. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate contractor accounts for policy violations, fraudulent activity, or conduct that harms the platform or its users.
  6. All new contractors start on the Free tier. Plan upgrades (Pro, Elite) and associated Stripe billing are available through the dashboard. No charges are incurred without your explicit authorization.
  7. Contractors are responsible for maintaining accurate profile information, including license status, insurance coverage, and service area ZIP codes.
08 — Acceptable use

The behavioral rules.

All users must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

09 — Governing law

Where disputes are resolved.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Clark County, Nevada, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Users waive any right to participate in a class action.

10 — Changes to terms

How updates are communicated.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and noted on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
